With God All Things are Possible Good or Bad\

I had a very perplexing day yesterday. Everywhere, everyone is talking about the disaster in Japan. Confused by some reactions of how people are saying that we should not pray for them because they are an Atheist country. Really! There are also Christian survivors there that have lost loved ones, and Atheists that have lost loved ones. We should pray that all of them find peace from all that they have lost.  We should also pray that many will see this as a sign of what God told us would come our way. I am not saying this as a doomsday post, I am merely saying we should all at all times be prepared for his coming by accepting Jesus as our Savior so that when our own time comes we are prepared. That is what love is about. Loving all that believe AND do not believe.  It is our purpose to share the word of god with others, but it is EVEN MORE PURPOSEFUL now to empathize and pray for those that have lost so much and so many.  Even more pray with gratitude for all that we have. Being grateful everyday for all that God has given us, and that is EVERYTHING.

Remembering that everything is thought first, think only good thoughts. Praise God with gratitude that we are not the survivors of such a tumultuous disaster, but remembering that we could be at anytime. Are you ready to leave this earth?
The greatest fear that most people have is the "fear of death," but those that have accepted Christ as their savior do not fear death, instead they believe that whatever happens in their life God is always with them. Relieve yourself of the greatest fear, the Fear of death, and realize if that is greatest fear, then "Fear is not a rational thought."This is a thought that I often play in my mind when plagued by Agoraphobia (fear of open spaces.)
My family's cookbook called "Traveling Recipes" is for sale as a pdf file on Etsy, all of the proceeds this from the sales this month are going to Autism Intervention Specialists.
Also try to turn the world BLUE on April 1,2, 2011 for Autism Awareness

EVERYONE NEEDS A LAUGH

Armageddon loomingImage by nimboo via FlickrLife is not easy. God never wanted it to be easy. He puts challenges in front of us so we will pay attention to what he has to give us. What is that you ask? Well, even if you didn't ask, you should know.  He wanted us to know that, no matter what we have done... he gave his son to die and to save us from ALL our sins.  So, no matter what you have done, or what is making you sad or dysfunctional...all you have to do is ask for his forgiveness...with conviction, and he will answer your prayers.
I ran across a video online today and could not resist sharing it with people, because it was so cathartic for me. It made me laugh so hard that I cried...The tears that I cried were from grief, sadness, guilt and so many other emotions that I couldn't even list them all, but it worked.  That is what EVERYTHING is about. Cleansing ourselves from the things that make us so dysfunctional in a world filled with so many things to be GRATEFUL for.  Take responsibility for your part in your life and ask for forgiveness; and if that is not enough watch this video, because I promise you, it will make you laugh until you cry with JOY.

Raffle to raise money for Autism Intervention

For every $25 dollars you donate, you receive one raffle ticket. For example, if you donate $100, you get 4 raffle tickets.  When you donate, you are asked to provide information such as your address, telephone number, and email address. This information is emailed to me automatically. I will use this information to send you your tickets in the mail.  Don't worry if you can't attend, because even though the drawing will take place at the Autism Walk, if a number is drawn for a participant who is not present, the item/s will be shipped to their address.

The raffle will take place while the event is coming to a close. During the event however, please visit our table for snacks, refreshments, free gifts, and information about our services. If you have any questions about the raffle, please email me at nassim.aoude@autismspecialty.com or call 508 232 7555. Please know that the donations are for a wonderful cause, so even if you don't win, you don't lose either. Every dollar counts, so please support our cause.

When you donate $25 dollars or more, you will have your information displayed on our Autism Intervention Specialists website. Have us advertise your business, website, or simply leave a nice message for someone.  Once you donate, we will contact you by email to ask you if you would like a standard “thank you for donating” message, or if you would like us to list your business or website info along with a link.  Not that you need prizes or free advertising, because donating for Autism makes you feel great by itself…but they can’t hurt!!

DIRECTIONS FOR DONATING:

Please click on "Make a Donation" to the left. Fill out the form. As soon as you donate, your name will appear next to your donation below. Therefore, please make sure to accurately type in the name you'd like to appear next to your donation. Please look at the bottom of this page for an example. If you choose to use something other than your name, like "Autism Awareness" for example, your pertinent information will STILL be emailed to me and I will still be able to get your tickets to you. You will have your raffle tickets within 7 days.

For a list of prizes, please visit www.autismspecialty.com, and click on our "Community 5K Run Autism Awareness" link. There will be even more cool prizes as well.
Good luck!!!

Thank you all for your support.

Autism Walk

Image representing Etsy as depicted in CrunchBaseImage via CrunchBaseBe sure to check out the info on the Autism Walk in Worcester on May 1st. Families and friends of families with Autistic children, need and appreciate your support. Lend a hand where you can. You can donate to the cause at: Autism
I wrote a cookbook with my family called "Traveling Recipes" and 1/3 of the proceeds goes to Autism research and the other 2/3rds go to Heart, and Cancer research.
The cookbook is a digital download and is available at Etsy. We wrote the cookbook in memory of our family members that have passed before us. All of these organizations need help, but the number of Autistic children is growing and we need to help by funding research to help these families and children. As I said, help where you can.

There is a reason it is called The Pepsi "Challenge."

Image representing Facebook as depicted in Cru...Image via CrunchBaseFor the third time in 2010 we did not collect enough votes to stay in the running. I will probably run again in March when they start accepting new Grantees. I am collecting resources now to get to the top in April. I will be asking many craft, and quilting sites to offer me their support. I will begin collecting them on my Face book page for the "challenge." It is a difficult challenge to win because it is based "totally" on people voting for me. I never give up, so I'll be in the fight again come March or April. So look for us and go to my page on Facebook to offer your commitment to vote for me. Please share with friends and family because this challenge is not about me it is about the disabled. Visit OUR GRATITUDE regularly to check for updates and our new start date.
I hope all that read this will go to the page join and lend "helping others with no expectation of return," is how life is meant to be lived. I hope to serve the disabled in my community and many others with this program. Please join in and lend me your support by beginning to collect bloggers, friends, and families to vote for us during our next challenge.
