Autism Awareness Month :  Here are some things you can do to help raise awareness...

  • Have a table display at your local library, festival, school or local store.  Contact us at greaterboston@autismspeaks.org if you would like banners to display, great informational materials about autism, balloons or other materials.
  • If you haven't yet registered for the Walk, do so quickly and easily by clicking here.  The, you can send out automatic e-mails to your address book, add a link to your personal page on Facebook, etc.  It's easy to share your story and invite people to join your fundraising team or donate to your efforts.
  • Ask your company to support awareness by letting you place informational materials (Again, contact us at greaterboston@autismspeaks.org for supplies!) around the office or building.  Invite your co-workers to join your team or donate - hang a banner at your desk or on your office door!  Hold a bake sale, potluck lunch or dress-down day to raise funds.
  • Whether you want to raise funds and awareness at an office, school, club, church or your own home, you can find MANY simple fundraising ideas and easy instructions here.

Help Us Help Your Community :  Please let us know of any club, school, service provider or business that might be interested in supporting or participating in the Walk.  We need to expand autism awareness in all of our and recruit more teams for fundraising.  We will be happy to follow up with any leads for Walk sponsors, teams, volunteers, etc.

Together, our Walk participants provide a community of hope for autism.  We look forward to working with you over the coming months to make the Walk a great success.  Thank you for your support.  Together, we continue to make a difference in the Greater Boston area.
